Quick scan / maturity assessment
I obtain a quick overview of the overall state of your procurement organisation and agree with you on the key priorities for further transformation work. The basis for this is a set of quantitative indicators and analyses, together with a structured survey of employees to determine the current maturity level of your procurement function.
A maturity model that is both practice‑oriented and scientific-based is used to highlight potential development needs. In a management workshop, the results are presented in a structured way (strengths/weaknesses profile), discussed, and used to define the main areas of focus for the subsequent change project.
Analysis & conceptual design
Only after a careful identification of causes and effects we are able to transfer your development needs into target-oriented concepts and action plans.
In this phase, it is particularly important for me to work very closely with you and your departments in order to take into account all relevant company specifics and to increase the acceptance of the action plans. In addition I review the professional development needs of your purchasing team members and, if necessary, propose a training plan for your team.
Training / Coaching
Training provides the impulse needed to initiate a change. Coaching and practical exercises ensure that what has been learned is applied in a sustainable way. Therefore, I usually recommend a combination of both. I train and coach your team in core purchasing topics. If required, I can offer further specialised training modules through my cooperation partners.
Implementation
The main focus of the transformation work is on this phase. I place great importance on not working behind closed doors, but implementing always together with the client. Only in this way can we build acceptance of the new. I guide your employees through the change and, based on a number of completed projects, I know the ups and downs of a transformation process. Of course, I apply established project management methods, such as work packages, schedules and milestone plans, as well as assumption checks and progress reports.
Maturity review / project closure
At the end of a transformation project, a further maturity review is recommended in order to visualise progress, discuss any remaining areas for action and address them where appropriate. You receive a written closing report covering the progress achieved, lessons learned and further recommendations for action.
